Dan Vogelsang, a low-rent private investigator/Laundromat owner, was originally hired by Max to track down both her Manticore siblings and the mysterious woman Hannah, who aided in her escape ten years ago. Decent enough to warn his client of impending danger, but still addicted to the lure of cash, Vogelsang eventually lost his life when Lydecker got wind of what was going on. The private eye was silenced by Zack, who knew that anything Vogalsang knew of the transgenics, Lydecker could also find out if the right amount of pressure was applied.
