Barcode Day - 17/5/06

For fans who would like to remind Fox that a proper conclusion to Dark Angel would be nice, Barcode Day 3 has been organised by darkangel-united.com. The idea is to petition Fox via snail mail or email on 17 May (the anniversary of Dark Angel’s cancellation) for a third season or movie/tv-movie. Further details can be found HERE. Remember if you wish to write to Fox via snail mail, best to send off your letters now so’s they get there in time. Write to:

  • Dark Angel wins poll at Fox! foxtvdvd.co.uk recently held a poll asking “Now we’ve brought back Family Guy for another series, which of these would you like to see resurrected for another series?” The choices were Dark Angel, Buffy, Angel, Futurama and Tru Calling. Dark Angel won with 34.5% followed by Tru Calling on 28.1%. Whoo hoo! Goes to show there’s still a lot of fans out there in the woodwork eh? And who knows, maybe there’s yet a chance…. (thanks to Saahm23 and Cody for the info).

    Dark Angel Fansite Database

    Ever find yourself searching Google for DA fansites? Get a bit tired of screening through pages of what often turn out to be broken links?

    Well, if you run a Dark Angel or cast fansite, or know of one, please add it to the recently launched Dark Angel Fansite Database!

    The site is a directory of fansites dedicated to DA or the cast of the show. Though I suppose the name states the obvious on it’s own. :P

    Berrisford Agenda music vid - can anyone help?

    I recently recieved an email from someone in search of a particular DA music vid. I couldn’t offer any help myself, but thought I’d put a notice up here in case anyone else can?

    Amiris is looking for a vid made from Dark Angel’s season two ep < xhref="http://www.thebrokenworld.org/episode/0211_the_berrisford_agenda.php" target=_blank>The Berrisford Agenda.  It could perhaps be created by the guy who ran the website jamponyxpress.com but it’s hard to say, as the site is no longer up. If anyone can offer any clues as to what this vid might be called and where it can be accessed, please leave a comment to this post. :)

    RPG pluggage, and TAG! YOU’RE IT!

    First up on the fandom agenda, I thought I might name-drop a cool new Dark Angel RPG site (which I meant to mention a few weeks ago, but forgot to). If you’re into RPG, you should check out Queen of the Underworld, and if you’re not into RPG then check it out anyway, because the site layout is beautiful. :)

    Next up, if you happen to log in to TBW’s Forum you may well find yourself bombarded by PM’s declaring “TAG! YOU’RE IT!” Don’t worry, it’s not a bizarre case of madness (well it always is, but in this case madness has nothing to do with it) it’s just a new competition/game we’ve got going where the object is to interview fellow members. It’s one of those morale raising, get-to-know-each-other things, and we’d particularly like lurkers to join in. Best way to escape the madness? You can’t. And as the saying goes; if you can’t beat it, join it! :D
