The nomination period for Round 3 of The Broken World Awards has been extended until further notice. My Inbox has a half dozen or so submissions waiting to be added to the site, but there still isn’t nearly enough to begin voting period. *sigh*

Now, I’ve heard many excuses for not sending in a nomination…. You had a dental emergency, your aunt died - again, and my personal favourite, you were detained by the sector police for practicing witchcraft. But come on, “busy with Christmas and other offline RL commitments”?? What the hell kind of freak excuse is that? (Actually, that was just the excuse I was about to make for slackin’ off on updates ’round here. D’oh!)  How ’bout you stop insulting my intelligence and fill in a nomination form for a favourite DA fan site, fan fic or fan art, eh? Don’t make me start Bipping! (Ripping off Normal quotes is bad enough) :tongue:

Oh and in other GROUND BREAKING NEWS, it’s the third birthday of our Forum on January 1st! I may have to celebrate this by having a few beers, perhaps the night before (just so it ties in with New Years and all, so I don’t get friends asking “dude, why are you wearing that party hat?” and I’m forced to say “because it’s my message board’s birthday” as I wipe that sentimental tear. Okay kidding. As if I have friends. Okay kidding. As if I have friends who’d think it out of place if I wear a party hat. Heck, I’m a crazy cat lady. I can get away with wearing a sandwich board)
