Over There is a dramatized take on the war in Iraq. Nicki plays the part of Brenda “Mrs. B” Mitchell, a character described as “a new recruit who’s shipped out to Iraq. Completely terrified from the get-go, Mrs. B is also obstinate and pig-headed a combination that is a real liability to both herself and her fighting comrades. Too paralyzed with fear to be any help whatsoever, Mrs. B soon displays a mean streak, a revelation that both frightens and disgusts her fellow fighter, Doublewide.”

The show began last Wednesday (24 July) on FX.
