October 2004

Happy halloween people!! I love Halloween, it’s my favourite of all festivities. Kinda makes me feel like Joshua - I can go outside with the upstairs people and no one will look at me like I’m a freak. :P And, I get to buy more decorations for my house! Yay!

Anyway, to celebrate the day, I’ve uploaded some clips from the Season Two episode Boo, to the gallery. So if you love the addle brained walkie talkie convo between Normal and Sketchy “how many times have I told you, say ‘over!’ over.” “Roger, over over” “no, say ‘over’ not ‘over over’” “you forgot to say over, over” “nitwit!”, or Logan’s, “no, I got bingo” or Max’s explaination to Rafer as to why she’s giving a swirly to a disembodied head… you can download the clips right here in multimedia section of the gallery. (note, you may need Codex and Windows Media Player to play them.)

On another note: Happy birthday to Linda Eastman! A great friend who I made through the forum, and who turned 18 on the 29th. :D

I’ve been whinging and moaning to myself and anyone within whinge-distance, about how New Zealand won’t be seeing Jensen Ackles in Smallville until next year. And then with the last Jensen update, a commentator pointed out something I’d completely failed to notice: jraunlimited.com has Jason Teague clips available for download right here! Yay! So if you’re a fan, go check ‘em out (if you haven’t done so already of course).

From JoBlo.com comes information on Jessica Alba’s character “The Invisable Woman”, following their art department tour. It can be found here at JoBlo, and the Jessica Alba segment has also been saved to TBW’s Articles page.

At last, The Broken World Awards is back on again with Round Two of our fiction and art competitions. This time the rules and many of the categories have changed as people are now welcome to nominate their favourite stories and art from within the Dark Angel community.

If you’re interested in taking part of just having a looksie about, please go to http://awards.thebrokenworld.org (yes, the URL has changed somewhat as well.) Hope to see many people taking part in the competitions!!

Big thanks to the awesome Tracey from martincumminsonline.com for passing on the following Martin Cummins (Ames White) news:

It looks like his role on Life As We Know It is a reoccuring one, as he’s also in episode three. He plays the part of Coach Dave Scott and Tracey reports that he’s appears to be a good guy, but he’s having an affair with a married woman.

Also from Tracey: Keep an eye for him in the WB series, The Mountain, which airs after Smallville. Martin plays Eric, a former best friend of one of the characters. He was in last week’s ep called “On The Beach” and will reprise the role in a forthcoming ep called “Masquerade”.

And, if you go to martincumminsonline.com you can find info on how to view one of Martin’s short films online. :D

Martin will be in the pilot ep and the second ep of the new show Life As We Know It. He will be playing coach Scott.

The first promo pics for the Fantastic Four were a couple of weeks ago and although I’m a bit slow off the… whatever (I forget the phrase now), here’s the first glimpse of Jessica in her role as the Invisable Woman…

Also, I’ve added to the site an article on the Fantastic Four from USA Today.
